Sand Castles in the Sand: SpongeBob and Patrick decide to celebrate their friendship by enjoying a day at the beach together. But what starts out as a fun day for the two best buddies quickly turns into all-out war when SpongeBob and Patrick use their sandcastles to battle each other.

Purple goo bubbles begin to rise from Goo Lagoon. SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and the other beachgoers have fun with the goo, while Sandy is insistent that they are dangerous. It is revealed to be a plot by Plankton, who attempts to destroy the Krusty Krab using a giant goo bubble.
